Privacy Policy

We are committed to safeguarding your personal information.

Effective Date: [29-1-2025]

Thank you for using Byte SMM Pro. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your personal information when you access or use our website, applications, services, and integrations (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you confirm that you accept the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

  • Registration & Account Data: Your name, email address, billing address, payment details, contact information, and other information you submit when creating an account or subscribing to a plan.

  • Social-Media Account Data: If you connect your social-media accounts (e.g., via APIs), we may collect account identifiers, profile information, usage metrics, posts, media, and analytics data from those platforms.

  • Communications & Support: Contents of your correspondence with us, support requests, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.

b) Automatically Collected Data

  • Usage & Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, features used, date/time stamps, referral URL, time spent, and other metadata.

  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to remember preferences, track behaviour, analyse usage, and deliver the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain and improve the Service (e.g., content scheduling, analytics, integrations).

  • To authenticate you, process payments, manage subscriptions and deliver customer support.

  • To send updates, newsletters, promotional materials, and service announcements (you can opt out of marketing communications).

  • To enforce our Terms of Service, resolve disputes, and protect our rights and property.

  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations or legal processes.

3. Third-Party Platforms & API Integration

Our Service integrates with Third-Party Platforms (such as Google, Meta – Facebook & Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn) via their APIs to enable features like scheduling posts, retrieving analytics, and managing accounts.

  • We only access data from those platforms to the extent you authorize when connecting your accounts.

  • We do not sell your social-media data to third parties for advertising or retargeting beyond our Service functionality.

  • The availability and performance of those integrations depend on the policies and APIs of the Third-Party Platforms; Byte SMM Pro is not responsible if a platform changes or terminates access.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information:

  • With Service Providers who help us deliver the Service (hosting, payment processors, analytics, support). They are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

  • With Third-Party Platforms if required by the integration and according to the permissions you grant.

  • If required by law, court order or to protect our rights, users or the public.

  • In connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, asset sale) — we will notify you if your personal data is transferred to a new entity.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no system can guarantee 100% security.
We retain your data as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

  • Accessing your personal information and requesting a copy.

  • Correcting or updating inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Deleting your personal information (subject to legal or contract obligations).

  • Withdrawing consent for processing where that is the legal basis.

  • Data portability: requesting your information in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • Opting out of marketing communications.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete that information.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, personalization and marketing. You can choose to disable or delete cookies via your browser settings — although some parts of the Service may no longer work properly if you do.
For detailed information about cookies, please consult our Cookie Policy (if applicable).

9. International Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to transfers of your information outside your country of residence, including to jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post the revised version with a new “Effective Date.” If you continue to use the Service after a change, you are deemed to accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
